Capturing unforgettable images of Myanmar’s people, landscapes, industries and traditions

Slide 1On 27 April 20123, Editions Didier Millet, launched 7 Days in Myanmar: A Multimedia Showcase, a unique project that will see 30 of the world’s best photographers travel the country for one week, capturing unforgettable images of Myanmar’s people, landscapes, industries and traditions. 7 Days in Myanmar will showcase many aspects of the nation’s life including cultural, social, economic, religious and natural.

Upon its release in December 2013, 7 Days in Myanmar will be distributed worldwide.

The book will begin with an introductory chapter from renowned historian, John Falconer, which will give a rich glimpse of Burmese history through rare archival images and explanatory text. Denis Gray, the distinguished Southeast Asia expert and journalist, will also write a chapter giving the reader a better idea of the country as it is today.

The publisher and event organiser, Editions Didier Millet, has completed several similar projects on other countries throughout Southeast Asia including Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand and the Philippines.
